We run regular 'Mightify Meetups' across the country throughout the year. They provide an informal, productive and positive networking and coaching opportunity for anyone considering their plans outside the emergency services. Any aspect of personal and professional development is on the agenda!

Mightify Meetups are for you if:

- You are approaching / considering leaving the police or any emergency services role

- You represent an employer that would be interested in meeting new, highly skilled talent

- You represent a training provider that offers relevant courses to those leaving the police/999 family

- You have a background in the police or emergency services and want to share your experiences with others

What a typical Mightify Meetup looks like:

Our meetups usually consist of a few relaxed talks where our experts provide some top tips for making the best possible career change. But mostly they're about:

- Building relevant connections

- Sharing experiences

- Increasing awareness of the jobs available to you

- Creating a supportive network that will help and guide you along the way

There will be a small Mightify team of coaches available to answer your questions or talk about how we can help with any aspect of personal and professional development. So bring your business cards, your CV, but most importantly, bring a willingness to learn, a desire to meet new people and a positive attitude.

October 2019 was a busy month for us as we travelled to Leeds and London for two fantastic #MightifyMeetup events.

We had a brilliant time discussing all things personal development, harnessing your transferable skills and getting tips on how to pitch yourself. It was great to meet everyone that came along, existing clients and new.

As well as our expert Mightify team giving talks at the events, we had some guest speakers as well:

Al McGregor from Inner Armour
Jason Cannon and Sam Pick from Keller Williams
Pete Childs from Police Treatment Centres

So a huge thank you to everyone of them, they gave some truly inspirational talks. If you missed out, keep in touch and look out for the updates about our next Mightify Meetup events!  Sign up to our newsletter here.

We know we can help people in the emergency services with their careers, wellbeing and personal development. We've been doing it for years already and we believe that things will eventually change for the better (if we have anything to do with it). One of the big challenges, though, is making our support, advice and expertise accessible to as many people as possible in a field where many organisations don't value these things.

Like everyone else, we at Mightify are unable to put on our usual programme of winter meet-ups due to Covid-19. Instead we are running a series of careers webinars to make sure we're still providing support and resources for you throughout these strange times.

These webinars will focus on individual sectors that you might be thinking about targeting as future employers and you will hear from sector experts, including people like you who have already made that successful big step.

Listen to their personal stories, their top tips and latest trends in the industry and, of course, the Mightify coaching team will be on hand to answer any other questions you might have.

The webinars are free to join and if you can’t be there on the night, we release a recording so you can access great content whenever and wherever it suits you. Look out for the details here and on social media.

Listen to recordings of the webinars we've had already in the series, here.

The Future Frontline

Across frontline services crucial to society, we are seeing great people institutionalised, burned out and unaware of their value. We're tired of talk - this is about bringing together people with solutions and skills to make the future better for everyone. No more excuses.

Let's Push Things Forward

Join us as we imagine a future where people, organisations and communities all prosper. We'll be putting people first and recognising an untapped talent pool of over 80,000 exceptional people in the UK alone. The issues are global - the scope is huge.

We're delighted to be collaborating with The Teacher Empowerment Project to bring this to life. The event will include expert speakers, panel discussions and CPD with tangible takeaways. Speakers to be announced soon so watch this space!

Panel topics will include:

  • Imagining the Future Frontline

  • Values-based leadership

  • Flexible Working on the Frontline

  • Practical and Proactive Suicide Prevention

  • Mental Fitness on the Frontline

  • Increasing Equality, Diversity and Inclusion across the sectors

Saturday 13th February 2021- FREE and online!
