Why getting outside together could be this year's best investment in business success

We all know by now that exercise is good for us - it reduces the risk of illness and disease, lowers stress, improves sleep quality, fights depression, changes our body shape and so on. We also all feel better for spending time outside - fresh air, a shot of vitamin D from the sunlight, stimulation for the mind and senses that doesn't exist in a sterile office or warehouse.

So what happens if we apply both of these accepted truths to a business context? The success of any business or organisation depends on its people. The happier and healthier those people are, the more productive they will be. The more productive they are, the more successful the business is. The more successful the business is, the more people are rewarded. The more people are rewarded, the more likely they are to stay and become an advocate for the business. You get the picture.
