We know we can help people in the emergency services with their careers, wellbeing and personal development. We've been doing it for years already and we believe that things will eventually change for the better (if we have anything to do with it). One of the big challenges, though, is making our support, advice and expertise accessible to as many people as possible in a field where many organisations don't value these things.
So we're on the road again, with these FREE ways for you to meet our team, get some 1-on-1 advice, hear us talk about essential elements of career change strategy, meet employers and training providers, speak to charities supporting you and equally importantly, share experiences with others in the same boat.
So firstly, for the Northerners amongst you, we're coming to Leeds on the 2nd October at The Midnight Bell pub, 6pm-9pm. And if you're attending the Police Resettlement Expo at the QEII Conference Centre on the 17th October, we've arranged for a little meet up after the event at SAMA Bankside from 5pm-9pm.
We'll also be attending the Birmingham Emergency Services Show on September 18th.
The events are free and informal - please register to help us keep track of numbers for the bar! So come along and #GetMightified!
'But who can attend these events?', you ask..
This event is for you if:
- You are approaching/considering leaving the police or any emergency service role
- You represent an employer that would be interested in meeting new talent
- You represent a training provider that offers relevant courses to those leaving the police/999 family
- You have a background in the police or emergency services and want to share your experiences with others
We're really looking forward to meeting you all, but until then, you can find some more information about this event now and grab your tickets here:
